    Autumn is a nice time to catch the Northern Lights as this season colours the landscape in hues of yellow, orange and red. Catching Aurora during autumn is perfect for those who wish for a milder climate and easier walking grounds without snow.

    DAY 1

    Welcome to Tromsø, Norway! You've landed in the Northern Arctics!

    Check into the Hotel.
    Keep warm & cosy. Re-charge for an adventurous day the next day!

     

  • DAY 2

    REINDEER FEEDING & SAMI CULTURE + LUNCH
    Meet these gentle reindeers & indulge in the storytelling by the Sami Lapland Chief! They'll share on their history, culture and how they fought to keep their heritage alive, as aborigines in Norway.

    Hop on the catamaran & enjoy the scenic landscapes! Here's a chance for you to catch some fish. As always,we'll cook the catch-of-the-day. If not, there'll be scrumptious seafood waiting for you.

  • Choice of Day Activities

     

    As ONE of your day activities, we highly recommend that you select Reindeer Feeding + Sami Lapland Culture. This is an activity like no other. As the Sami people are the aborigines in Norway, this activity will give you a more holistic overview of the origins of Norway.

     Reindeer Feeding + Sami Lapland Culture

     This activity begins with reindeer-feeding where you'll get up close with the enchanting reindeers. After that, lunch is served in a tippi tent with a cosy bonfire lit up specially for you, the guests! As you enjoy your lunch, the Sami Chief will share on their life as aborigines in the arctic area, as well as their artifacts. If you’re lucky, the Chief might just break into their traditional song called the YOIK.

    Sailing & Fishing

    This is not an ordinary fishing trip. Coffee and tea awaits you upon arrival. Our panoramic saloon is the best place to be while we cruise to the fishing area. After a short trip, you should be able to catch fish. We cannot guarantee that you'll catch fish, but almost! We'll cook the catch-of-the day or if not, we'll serve fresh fish for you to feast on board.

    Sightseeing Road Trip

    This trip invites you to sit back and enjoy lots of breathtaking sceneries. For those who love photography, this is a trip not to be missed! Catch the fjords, beach, the local neighborhood & forests. Should you be lucky, you might just catch sight of arctic animals like the moose, deer or fox.

    Tromsø City Walking Tour

    Tromsø City used to be known as the 'Paris of Norway' due to the high fashion donned by the locals back then. This small city is home to the oldest (& still running!) cinema in Norway, the smallest pub and a most grand library! Join this relaxing walking tour with our local Norwegian guide.

    TRAVEL DATES

    1. This tour is an INDEPENDENT TOUR. This means that you can choose any travel dates for this tour as long as the dates fall within mid September to end March.
    2. To provide us with ample time to make the necessary bookings for your tour, kindly make your booking with us AT LEAST 3 WEEKS prior to your arrival date in Tromsø, Norway.

    HOTELS

    1. The 3-star hotel for your stay will centrally located.
    2. The hotels WITH BREAKFAST are:

    4. Accommodation will be selected based on availability. Should neither of the hotel above be available on your travel dates, we'll find a similar 3-star hotel for you. Rest assured that the alternative hotel will be centrally located and of good quality.

    MEETING POINTS FOR ACTIVITIES

    1. IMPORTANT : Upon booking, kindly specify which are your choices of Day Activities. This tour is an independent tour. As such, clients will need to make their way to the meeting points for the activities. At these meeting points, clients will meet the activity guides. Transportation will be provided at the meeting point henceforth.
    2. The meeting points are often at centralised, accessible locations. Pls refer to your Booking Vouchers for the designated Meeting Places.
    3. Clients will bear full responsibility in being punctual for the activities. There will be no refund should clients fail to be at the meeting points on time.

    CONFIRMATION

    • Once payment is made on our website, the booking is confirmed. Clients will receive all details including names and contact info of companies running the activities and meeting points.

    BAD WEATHER

    1. The Northern Lights is a natural phenomenon. Thus, we do not have full control on its showing. However, our guides are highly experienced & they will go all out to find the Northern Lights for you. They also have access to the most updated & credible weather info, based on the advanced meteorological centre located in Tromso city.
    2. Our partners will contact you should there be changes to the activities due to weather conditions.
    3. There will be no refund should the Northern Lights did not appear during the chase.
    4. In light of bad weather which deems a 50-50% chance of Aurora sightings, clients will be informed a few hours prior to the chase. They can make a choice on whether to go on the chase that night or otherwise. Should you decide not to chase, another chase can be booked for another night.
